A bit of an experiment, Joe. I wanted to show the footnotes and didn’t know how to do that using WordPress. So I created a jpg of the Word doc via a pdf and uploaded that … does it work?
I LOVED this, Polly. The layout is fantastic, the meaning of each flower is catalogued, and your use of the names so clever. You must have spent hours on this, and it’s well worth the effort. Very impressive! Thanks, Amy
So pleased you liked the layout, Amy. I’m doing a course just now and we were discussing the importance of footnotes, or hyperlinks, or similar if there’s anything that would be better explained. So, I guess the cataloging was influenced by that. This poem has been a long, long time in the making.
Glad you like it ~ thanks for your kind comments x
Ha! In case you were wondering, the footnote thing is in my A215 OU course … really interesting what you pick up from different tutors. Thanks for your comment, Holly, appreciated

I agree – the layout works well and doesn’t interrupt the flow of the poem.
