keepcalmAndWriteFlashThinking about Flash Fiction writers on Napowrimo, Day 27.

Flash: a quickly written,
smitten – writer on a mission -
short, short story,
flash fiction.

Get those fingers flashing,
brain dashing,
mind mashing,
pen writing,

brain fighting to
work a twist into
the tail – rail against
time – get it down,

get it down,
get down,
down.
Flash.

  1. This was so much fun to read! I can see the person bent over their keyboard tapping out flash fiction :-)

  2. Polly, thanks for keeping my seat warm! Will start posting tomorrow.

This was a great take on flash fiction. For me, that’s like playing Pac-Man… the adrenalin rush and panic to get it done, the runrunrun of it, well, that’s me half the time anyway, so I avoid those situations. I’m a “slow cooker” most of the time on poetry, unless something strikes me at 3 am, and then I’m off and running!

Your poem ON F.F. is a nice wordplay, a good write. Really enjoyed it. Peace, Amy

  3. Flash – A-aaah savior of the universe!
    Brilliant!
