We have such good opportunities to share our work and talk to other writers in Worcester, here’s some info on where and when.
Worcester writers’ workshops are helpful and supportive, often giving an opportunity to read work and the better ones the opportunity to write. Those organised by Worcestershire Literary Festival at Little Venice from time to time are worth a visit.
The spoken word sessions run by 42 and Parole Parlate in Worcester are fun and Worcestershire Writers’ Circle is a well-established and friendly organisation for writers.
Slightly further afield, but worth a mention, the Arvon Foundation residentials inspire and give space to breath and write with few distractions.
Hope you find this info useful – come and say hello at one of the events sometime

There are also poetry evenings at the Lamb and Flag, The Tything, Worcester – I think usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. These are run by Templar Press and are definitely worth a visit.

I am sure my writers’ group would like to come, but it is maybe just a bit far away – so I shall just enjoy your offerings on this blog–and take some notes on what you do

We immediately issue an invite to your writers’ group, you never know, you might get up a fly / drive trip from Kingsville – maybe one day
Who knows?
Thanks for your comments, LouAnn, hope to see you visit again and I’ll do my best to keep you up to date with Worcestershire happenings on the writing front – for sure other Worcester writers will join in

A Thank You Note
A big thank you to Tony Judge for reading my short story Antics at Worcester Writers’ Circle 17 July 2012. He got the voices of the gargoyles just right! Even though I wrote it, Tony made me laugh!

Have to keep an eye open for that Literary Festival – thanks for the heads-up.
